Description
Letter in which John writes that he too is not well, and comments on the resulting delay this will cause fot the portrait sittings. He writes that “I think we may both look forward to the warmer weather ahead of us for our complete recovery”. John promises to update Gogarty on progress when he sees him next in London, and mentions that he is hoping his friend Joe Hone, "who did George Moore’s life so well”, will get a commission to write a life of W.B Yeats. John concludes by offering to come to Ireland for the sittings if that is more convenient, writing that “it is a country I am very fond of visiting”.
