Illustrated letter from William Orpen to Grace Orpen regarding Easter plans
Download: view IIIF manifest
Description
Handwritten letter in which Orpen asks whether Grace has plans for Easter or whether they could spend the holiday together if he travels from Dublin, as he has leave to take from the Metropolitan School of Art. Orpen also mentions 'Rothenstein's' resignation from 'the New English' [Club], and wonders the reason? He concludes with news of Mrs. St. George's health being poor, and a pen sketch of himself and another man playing billiards.
