Typescript letter on headed paper, addressed from the National Gallery of Ireland, Merrion Square West, Dublin 2, Ireland, to Mrs. Kit Orpen Casey of Suffolk, United Kingdom, in which James White (Director, National Gallery of Ireland) thanks her for the gift of three further sketches relating to her father William Orpen's Vere Foster group portrait in the Gallery's permanent collection. He also asks Orpen Casey to compile a list of paintings she thinks should feature in the upcoming exhibition celebrating her father's work, to be held in the National Gallery of Ireland [in October 1978].
