Includes a manuscript letter written by Connor to Brinsley MacNamara (Registrar, National Gallery of Ireland), regarding "Saint John in the Cave", a painting in Connor's collection attributed to [Giovanni Battista Piazzetta] that Connor has offered along with five other pictures for purchase. File also includes a typescript reply to Connor on this same issue from [George Furlong (Director, National Gallery of Ireland)], in which [Furlong] replies that the Board of Governors and Guardians are not interested at this time in the purchase.
