Description
Manuscript letter from Burton to Armstrong (Director of the National Gallery of Ireland) expressing that he is glad that Armstrong is pleased with the portrait and for promising to write Mr. Wells. Burton also includes instructions for the sketchbooks should they prove "useful for the purposes of the memoir." Burton also wishes Armstrong to put "Old Mrs. Keiran's" mind at ease regarding a picture she left at the Gallery.
