Description
Manuscript letter from [Ruskin] to Burton regarding a suggestion for a book to be kept at the National Gallery (UK) "with columns for name, place of birth, address in London, and should request every suspicious looking individual to sign." [Ruskin] also agrees with what Burton has said of William Gladstone, enquires about Lord Colin Campbell, and relates that business is "awfully slack."
