Handwritten letter from Barrie Cooke to John Sweeney and his wife Máire (née MacNeill), thanking them for the cheque they have recently sent him. Cooke says he took their wise advice and showed John Maguire the pictures; the latter will give him a show when he wants it. He also mentions a trip to see [Oskar] Kokoschka, and a possible portrait of Máire MacNeill, if she has time for sittings.
