Download: view IIIF manifest
Description
Handwritten letter addressed from Victoria, British Columbia, in which Wallace reports that Margaret and he had recently decamped to Lake Carlyle in order to escape the "congested excitements of the Commonwealth Games" which were held in Victoria, British Columbia in 1994. He expresses his delight that the Dreossis bought "the carnegie monotype self-portrait" but says he has not been productive in an artistic sense since September. Wallace also relates that he bought a Jack Nichols lithograph and a Durer engraving at a recent local auction.
