Description
Minutes of board meeting held on 3rd September 1855 in which the following was discussed: insufficient attendees for meetings in July and August noted. A transcription was made of a proposed agreement between the estate of the late Captain Archibald Taylor and the trustees concerning his intent to bequeath a collection of watercolour paintings and 'a few framed prints'. The board members agree to enter into the agreement. A resolution is agreed to present the bequest at the Hibernian Academy until the Gallery is available.
