Description
Handwritten letter from HP to Hugh Lane on headed paper regarding the decision at the Mansion House meeting to select the Bridge Site as opposed to the Merrion Square Site for the Municipal Gallery building. The writer explains the necessity of getting an advance so that experts can carry out the foundation of the building, and that the cost would be £45,000. Others were in favour of the Merrion Square site such as Ms [Sarah] Purser.
