Description
Handwritten letter with envelope from Hugh Lane to Sarah Cecilia Harrison of 33 Harcourt St, Dublin, writing of his Easter holiday plans and meeting with [Sarah] Purser. Lane writes of to the Fair Women exhibition, a suffrage meeting and people buying [Charles] Shannon’s works. Lane also notes that he is angry that Harrison refused a 100 guinea commission, and that [John Millington] Synge and John Davison are dead.
