Handwritten letter with envelope from Hugh Lane to Sarah Cecilia Harrison of 33 Harcourt St, Dublin, writing about his time in France, the possible reform the RHA and lending artworks from the Municipal Gallery. Lane also discusses [William] Orpen’s refusal to meet him, Mrs Yeats’ claim to owning Lane’s portrait of W.B. Yeats and the strange weather he is having in Cap Martin with his friends.
