Description
Handwritten letter with envelope from Hugh Lane to Sarah Cecilia Harrison of 33 Harcourt St, Dublin, writing that he won't go to Dublin until the 20th and then only to 'pack up - if they do not take the room at Lincoln Place'. He will only consent to a temporary space if they stay there for a minimum of five years. Ambrose, Lane's brother, will give Harrison a copy of his ultimatum to give to the Dublin Corporation. Lane also notes that Orpen will 'interview any "difficult" subject' and that Mr Yeats seems hopeful.
