Description
Handwritten letter with envelope from Hugh Lane to Sarah Cecilia Harrison of 33 Harcourt St, Dublin, discussing an evening of entertainment an impression to an unnamed person. He discusses various costumes and recitations people could perform. He also writes the Municipal Gallery was slightly ridiculed at a burlesque recently and that Lane brought William Orpen to the RHA. Included in the letter is a small card with 'Mr Hugh Lane United Service Club St Stephen's Green' written on it as well as Sir William Orpen's signature in pencil.
