Description
Typescript letter from Harry Clarke to Thomas Bodkin explaining that he has been "sick as hell and worked to death- otherwise nothing could have happened that two gents could not have settled in five minutes without weapons" referring to his earlier quarrel with Bodkin regarding an article for the Times. Clarke informs Bodkin that he is going to see his wife and children in Skerries that evening but would like to get lunch. Clarke "nearly wept with misery in [his] empty house last night."
