Manuscript letter on headed paper, addressed from Connor's studio at 302 New Jersey Avenue S.E., Washington, D.C. to Emmet concerning photographs sent by Connor of a model for the statue of Robert Emmet for the National Gallery of Art, Washington D.C. Connor has tried to embody in the statue "courage, loftiness of character and daring." Connor requests Emmet's opinion as well as that of Dr. Thomas Addis Emmet before proceeding with the full size model.
